A highly cosmopolitan upbringing has provided me with a host of valuable experiences inherent to many different walks of life. These have been instrumental in developing and nurturing a naturally inquisitive mind. In recent years I have helped implement a new marketing position at a defence and mechanical engineering firm, and worked for a specialist consultancy dedicated to the field of Industrial Gas. This latter role has involved being immersed within and learning about a highly specialised, niche industrial sector. The work has involved using marketing, project proposal, research, data processing and analytical skills to help better facilitate the commercial operations of a large number of industry players worldwide.

Technical

• Experience of generating technical reports and presentations for a highly qualified Industrial Gas industry audience/readership;
• Analytical experience: evaluating quantitative financial data in order to facilitate an improved view of the Industrial Gases market to leading industry players;
• Experience of producing promotional literature for specialist engineering marketing purposes;
• Extensive working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access, MS Word, Quark, Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Dreamweave;
• Experience of desiging scientific experiments.

Leadership skills

• Comprehensive experience of assuming in-depth client liaison roles both for the purposes of project definition as well as project proposal phases of new and existing client relationships;
• Undertook a leading role in the editorial and development process for www.bloc-online.com (2003/4);
• Commanded and led a Swedish Army troop of up to 16 men – with vehicles – in often harsh climatic conditions: hold rank of 2nd Lieutenant.

Intellectual skills

• Extensive academic qualifications in both the Sciences and the Arts;
• Languages: conversant in French, fluent in Swedish;
• Extensive personal experience of numerous countries, cultures and peoples.

Endurance

• Undaunted by physically or mentally demanding tasks.
• Enjoy physically demanding sports such as SCUBA diving (PADI Rescue Diver and Medic First Aid), sailing, skiing and hiking in my free time.
